How Flying Blue works
Miles
Miles are your travel currency within Flying Blue. Earn them when you fly, shop, and explore the world with our partners. Then use them to book flights, upgrade your experience, reserve hotels, and more.
Experience Points (XP)
XP reflect your activity and loyalty, defining your status level and the benefits you receive. The more you travel and engage with Flying Blue, the more XP you earn- and the higher your status climbs.
Status levels
From Explorer to Ultimate, each level offers greater rewards, including lounge access, priority boarding, and personalized services that make travel smoother and more rewarding.
Progress with every journey
From your first flight to Platinum status, Flying Blue rewards your loyalty. Every trip brings you closer to the next status. Earn 100 XP to reach Silver, another 180 XP to reach Gold, and another 300 XP to reach Platinum. Once you’re Platinum, earn 900 UXP on eligible Air France and KLM flights to reach Ultimate. Each new status brings you more benefits.
